This is I.L.L.E.S.T., the IKEA Lack Lateral Expandable System for Tables!
I.L.L.E.S.T. adds functionality to your IKEA Lack by utilizing the vertical space on the legs of the table. The "Cap" module has ribs on the inside that hold on the leg, providing a platform to build the other modules onto. So far I've modeled and printed a shelf holder, a mug holder, and a pen/ TV remote holder. I encourage you to try to model your own modules and add them to your I.L.L.E.S.T. system. I am happy to add your STL files to this "Thing" if you contact me!
