3/16/17 Modified plate&chain to eliminate screws and open channel for belt. This was original design, with the chain mount removed to allow better printing orientation. However along the way I also beefed it up, so it should be OK in this orientation. Side notches are to hold cable tie. Bearing blocks resized to not allow any play after bearing installed. Note that over/under extrusion can affect this.

I am designing this to re-build a clone printer onto a Prusa single frame using Prusa MK2 printed parts and regular threaded rods and re-using an E3D Titan extruder and IGUS bearings.
This system mounts the extruder captured close to the rails and can be difficult to assemble, bu the extruder CAN be assembled inside the mount. the mount connects to a plate with integrated belt catches and holes for bearing blocks. To narrow the width of the system (and reduce weight) the double bearings are in a single block. The bearing holders are designed to hold IGUS RJ4JP bear
