IC-705 roll cage

This is a remix of 4633445. His design didn't have anyway I could see to keep the 2 halves on the radio without gluing them together which i didn't want to do in case It ever needed service.

I added two holes to the top of both halves so a M3 threaded insert could be put in the bottom half and 2 bolts could hold the halves together. On the bottom of the radio I held the 2 haves together by using the m4 screws into the 705 using a 1 inch diameter fender washer to jump the gap across the two halves making a pressure point.

I printed this on my Anycubic Vyper with the halves in a horizontal orientation. That printers print bed was just large enough. On an ender 3 or other printer with a smaller print bed you will halve to print them edge on and use supports everywhere.
