Large IceCube Tray Mold
To be used with food safe silicone as a model to create a monogramed large ice cube. I built the model so it could be reusable with just printing a simple monogramed head replacement. I built this to be easy to demold and it came out really cool.
Requires:
- Designed to print the mold and then pour Smooth-Sil 940 or related food safe silicone
- Requires customization for your personal monogram, i provide a couple examples. Once you monogram the blank you just need to make 8 copies to print
I used PETG as PLA just isnt water proof, and the silicone can leak. The model can still leak at the tongue and grove box assembly so I used standard packing tape to put a layer of tape around the entire inside of the box. Also used packing tape to hold the monogramed top onto the icecube base. The tape made it really easy to demold though i did use some demold spray on the top of the cube where the monogram is to make that a bit easier to get out of the cured mold. Also wh
