Icosphere Door Knob (M3)

An Icosphere Door Knob compatible with my M3 sized Door Knob Rod. A replacement for obsolete modern door knobs that are meant to be compatible with 1900's style doors found in, at least, the US and UK. Secure with our desired length of M3 bolt with or without a nut. The tight tolerances enable a secure fitment either way. This model is a recreation of the stock door knobs I have in my 1900's home that are obsolescence proof! Modern knobs & rods are designed to fail after a few years of use and have weak threads to secure the knob. With this older technology there is a hole which completely secures the knob without any opportunity for failure by design. If you need to replace your 1900's rod, or are tired of replacing your modern rods over and over, then this is the design for you! I have posted a compatible rod with a 3mm wide perforation as well as a 3.85mm perforation to accommodate brass heat sink threads that you can implant with a soldering iron.
