A simple but effective design. The 'rotator' piece takes an M5 bolt and will neatly hide the bolt head inside the body. Either side can be used to cater for either left or right side mounting.
The optional 'stalk' moves the 'rotator' up/down which by clearing any bike tubing (stay etc) can allow the 'rotator' to go on the other side where it doesn't protrude. The 'stalk' takes an M5 nut so there's no need to carry a spanner.
Print the 'stalk' using PLA or ideally PET-G. Other materials like ABS will work fine here.
Print the 'rotator' with the large face pointing upwards (if your printer is good with overhangs you wont need supports) using either:
-> PLA. The top surface must be ironed and a spray acrylic lacquer added to increase adhesion
-> PET-G. The top surface must be ironed.
