igus E-Chain original links and one I edited (has 'T' watermark) for print. I took .02mm off the pins (.04 total) and .02 off the inner faces. Hoping to get some feedback on print-in-place links and get this perfected.
I appreciate the fair play of igus with their CAD files. With this approach to fair use, a lot more ideas can be prototyped and tested faster with duplicated parts.
I have used the igus E-Chain earlier on my ShopBot. This incredible plastic material behaves like high grade aluminum in many ways.

We had a discussion in the Engineering group regarding the term used for something that functions right off the build plate. Seems that 'print-in-place' is the term so far, but I like 'functionable' because it describes this result better.
