Interlocking Gridfinity Baseplate for IKEA Alex 36x70cm DrawerDescription:This project is a custom Gridfinity‑compatible baseplate designed specifically to fit inside the IKEA ALEX 36x70cm drawer. The layout was generated using the online Gridfinity baseplate generator at gridfinity.perplexinglabs.com, which comes with the Interlocking mechanism, so that the plate can be fully assembled without additional connectors. Additionally, the plates are numbered which makes the assembly easy. The overall dimensions (295mmx522mm) were tuned so the plate sits comfortably inside the IKEA ALEX drawer while still leaving a small clearance on all sides to account for slight drawer variations. Printing notes:After many attempts to print Gridfinity baseplates and especially bins, I had lots of adhesion problems with the standard 0.2mm print profile.
