If you're creating a corner setup with IKEA Billy bookcases using the official corner fittings (part number 401.041.09), you may have noticed a problem: the backs of the cabinets can still slide. This is especially an issue when the bookcases aren't placed flush against a wall.This simple but effective bracket is designed to completely solve that issue. It mounts on top of the bookcases, creating a rigid second point of contact that locks them in place and prevents any unwanted rotation. It provides the stability that the original hardware is missing. ⭐ Important Note: Improved Design! The 3D model you are downloading here is an improved version of the one shown in my photos. During testing, I discovered that the original design with the oval-shaped slot didn't provide enough grip, and the cabinets could still shift slightly.
