The IKEA milk frother is ridiculously cheap. A nice little electric motor with battery compartment, switch and shaft. I just had to use it for something sensible. Print, assemble, turn on and enjoy the cool!
There are five fans in the main image. The bottom left two are the ones I recommend, if in doubt try the five bladed fan. The others are variants except top right which was an unsuccessful attempt at using thing:4941. Despite other fancy propellers I decided to go for simplicity and ease of printing. Which doesn't apply if you go below 45 degrees for the fan blades.
It does tend to wobble a bit, it spins faster if you hold it loosely (which I find kind of strange).
My next projects with this may be to use it for propulsion for both wheeled and aquatic toys!
NOTE: Despite the name I am NOT a fan of IKEA! :-)
NOTE 2: If only thingiverse wouldn't crop thumbnails you could actually see a thumb of the milk frother.
