Hi there!
Things I changed from the original:
-- I wanted to maximise the space within the lack enclosure so I shifted out the perspex slots to as far as possible to the outside edge as I could, while also maintaining structural integrity.
-- Also here in New Zealand we have slightly different sizes of perspex - I opted for 6mm and so have resized to that also.
-- I wasn't a huge fan of the little 'dimple' that held the perspex in place either, so I opted for a little **6mm** knotch (or step?) that will hold the perspex in place instead. You can cut that knotch into the perspex using a dremel.
-- Lastly, I really liked the seamless look of this leg extension:
