I am building an enclosure out of Ikea Lack tables for my 3d printer. I realized with the AM8 frame and a paving stone, I was going to need some extra clearance on the inside height of the enclosure to fit my printer in there.
I designed these risers to attach to the top and bottom Lack tables to provide the additional clearance I needed. I made it a two-part design since I wanted to be able to take the top off in case I need easier access to the printer.
The printed parts are attached to the Lack tables using wood screws. The parts didn't pull together as tightly as I hoped since the Lacks aren't exactly solid wood. But, I felt that they were still sufficient.
