This part lets you extend the legs of IKEA Lack tables while letting you use the included threaded screws.
Note the orientation of the parts. FDM prints usually break along the layer, hence it is recommended to orient them as pictured.
I bought two used Lack Coffee Tables (90x55x45cm) as well as a Lack Side Table (55x55x45). The idea is to cannibalize the side table and use the legs to lift up one of the coffee tables.
This is an ongoing project, but here is my plan:
1. Drill a smaller guide hole under a leg to screw-in another leg using the stock threaded screws. These screws are quite robust by themselves. Leave ~5mm room for the part to slip in snugly.
2. Slip in the printed part and use 6x M3 (length TBD) screws with washer per leg. This step needs some preparation: mark the location of the M3 screws on the legs using a pen or marker and drill some smaller guide holes for the M3 screws to go in.
