I have two Ikea Lack shelves (2" thick) butted up to one another in the corner of a room. Naturally over time I have noticed sag and play with one of the shelves and simply by design alone they are not the most sturdy. This brace connects the two shelves together in the crook of the corner without looking terribly out of place. I have also included screw holes should you decide to make a more permanent and/or sturdy installation, however on it's own it's fine.
