Ikea Lack Shelf Mounting Template

I was trying to hang some floating Lack shelves from Ikea and was failing miserably. Lathe and plaster walls combined with impossible-to-see-when-mounting shelf mounts designed by Goldilocks (screws heads and spacing have to be JUST RIGHT) was driving me nuts. A voice in the back of my head was screaming “This is a job for the 3D printer!”

I whipped up a simple design using Blockscad3d (https://www.blockscad3d.com/) and printed three of them on my printer. After the print, I had the shelves hung in no time.
