I designed this feet for the IKEA MULIG clothes rack as the original are too wide. The originals would get in the way when placing the rack between the bed and the wall. This design saves more than half the space, effectively halving the depth of the clothes rack. This means that the clothes can be placed closer to the wall (this however requires not 1piece-rigid clothes hangers to skew them) and also the base does not get in the way when walking near the rack. I designed and printed the piece in PLA Matte. I have used this design for more than a month now and it seems to hold pretty well. I added support bars on the side to help sustain lateral forces, as a design more similar to the original was too weak for 3D printed plastic. The ones I am currently using are also shortened in height (I did it simply placing a negative volume in the slicer), saving a few cm and some material.I modified print settings to have an hexagonal infill at 25% and 3 wall loops, to improve strength. Enjoy!
