Ikea Nyvoll Bed Post Caps

I got tired of banging my shins on the corner of the bed posts that stick out at the foot of my Ikea Nyvoll bed. So I created a pair of round caps for them. They print upside down (which means a flat part on top), and just slide down onto the top of each post. The idea is that you are putting a spherical top cap on each bed post that smooths both the top and sides, making the corners round to reduce the pain of bumping into them. No shin bruises since I put these on!

There is an extra millimeter or so of slop on the fit so you won't scratch up the wood getting them on and off. It's the first 3D object I've made, so no doubt can be improved, but gets the job done as is. (The inside is a hollow sphere to save material and add strength, but it has a square resting place for the square top of the post to fit securely.)
