IKEA Picture Frame Command Strip Mounts

These braces allow the mounting of Ikea Ribba frames with Medium 3M Command strips although probably suitable for any wooden/MDF frame whose sides are at least 15mm wide.

They are designed as a set, one each for the left and right hands of the frame and a single spacer block for the bottom - this ensures that the frames lie parallel to the wall once mounted.

Each piece is held to the frame with panel pins and the command strip is applied to the braces and then the entire frame can be mounted to the wall.

I recommend pre-drilling holes for the panel pins as the frames I had developed splits when I installed without any holes. My panel pins were 2mm diameter and 1.5mm holes worked fine, I made the holes 3-5mm shallower than the length of the pins.

I would advise NOT printing these from PETG, every frame I mounted with PETG parts fell off the wall within days but PLA parts have been on the wall for months without issue.
