Ikea toy kitchen knobs

Wanted to add a bit more tactile fun to the IKEA DUKTIG play kitchen, so I designed these knobs to spin and click for a more realistic feel. The exploded view shows the full assembly. I used a wood screw long enough to bite into the panel without poking through. A bolt and nut would also work, but I didn’t have the right size on hand.The hammer piece works better in a slightly flexible filament, though it’s not mandatory. If the clicking feels too soft, scale the hammer up a touch to increase interference—but don’t overdo it or it’ll bind instead of click.
