I made use of @nobody28's Trostfast rails (Trofast Ikea Rail Kallax Expedit) in some of the cubes of a Kallax we brought, and then my wife asked me to install some into a 40mm wide kitchen cabinet we had in our utility room so she could store some of the kids Art supplies.To complete this I created some simple spacers to match the rails to the width of the cabinet opening. I have since translated this to openScad so that you can create your own for any cupboard/opening width, just by specifying a few parameters. Please do let me know if you have any other recomendations that would make this more useful.
