Imperial Crossbowmen

Imperial Crossbowmen are a must-have unit in any Imperial army. They're the perfect support for ranks of Swordsmen and Halberdiers, wearing down opponents with powerful volleys of bolts. They strike a balance between Archers and arquebusiers—an affordable option for noble Imperial lords, yet still packing impressive power and accuracy. When sculpting these miniatures, I made sure to slightly increase the size of the crossbows—both to maintain scale consistency and to ensure they print perfectly in both 28mm and 32mm. No one likes dealing with fragile, breakable parts, especially when removing supports from miniatures (we've all been there, and it's never fun).  We’ve also included a set of pavise shields to protect the crossbowmen. Our pavise shields are worthy of the Sacrum Imperium—each one bearing clear signs of wear and adorned with Imperial symbols.
