Imperial Repair Ship

As the empire extended its control over the outer rim, Emperor Palpatine foresaw a need for a mobile repair station that could keep ships in operation without having to return to the shipyards or an established base. Lightly armed and crewed mostly by repair teams and engineers, the majority of internal space was reserved for spare parts, materials and supplies. Armed with a quad laser cannon and four concussion missile launchers. The imperial repair ship features 4 starfighter / shuttle repair bays, and a large ship birth for the maintenance of capital ships. Following a battle the repair ship can enter a secured area and perform the repairs necessary for a ship to re enter combat or to travel to a larger repair facility significantly reducing the materials required to build a new ship from scratch.
