This is a very weird mechanism I found based on this video from thang010146:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bRevPdhEco&list=PLCZM0BJGXLH6QKpdjutMnt7Fb1AZM1sou&index=20 The knob can only turn one direction and when it is turned, tensions the spring and provides a snappy turn. No supports needed, printed with .2 layer height in PLA.
