Lately my son and I have been playing with brain teasers and optical illusions. One of the most famous illusions which has been around for years is the infinity chocolate that seems to never end. The Never-Ending or Infinity Chocolate Bar is a fascinating optical illusion that appears to have an infinite number of pieces of chocolate. The trick exploits our brain's inability to perceive small differences. I decided to make a simple 3D model for my son to play with his friends. I have made a minor personal adjustment to the traditional animations or models you will see. The main difference is that the piece that comes out, is not rectangle and instead a parallelogram. This is done intentionally to ensure alignment of the horizontal grooves in the re-arranged chocolate bar. Printing There are two versions that have been uploaded. One version has the holes for 6x3 magnets whereas other one doesn't have any magnet holes. Non-magnet version also makes it a simple puzzle for kids.
