I use mainly Inland PLA and PLA+ filaments which I get from Micro center, so I end up with a lot of empty rolls. Unable to find a drawer that was already designed for them, I made my own. The ones I printed are in PETG, translucent red, but thats because I have a lot of it on hand. It should be able to be printed with whatever you have on hand. With my settings its about 50g per drawer.
You will also need 3mm Hex Head bolts, I used 10mm length, and be able to drill a 6mm hole in the plastic.
The holes should line up with the boss for the bolts, and then when the bolts are installed, the heads act as the hinge. There is a small raised area to act as an integrated spring to keep the drawers from just flying out.
These do not work with the Hatchbox spools. Not sure about others but feel free to let me know if they work with any other brand of filament spool.
