Instax Mini 12 Flash Cover

A quick and dirty flash cover/diffuser for the Instax Mini 12 camera, which sit more flush against the camera body than the Instax 11. This cover sits flush against the flash, and does not ‘snap’ on securely. I prefer using a removeable adhesive dot to the inside top edge to secure the cover, or wedge it against the camera case in order to remove it as necessary.

I find printing the cover in white or light grey diffuses the flash enough to capture finer details and printing in translucent smoke or black to block too much light. Printing in coloured filaments can also provide a colour overlay effect on photos.
