Insteon Mini Remote Screwless Bracket

I wanted to mount an Insteon Mini Remote on my kitchen cabinet without making any screw holes, so I designed this bracket. It fits current production Leviton single gang switchplates and possibly others. Unlike the standard Insteon mini-remote mount, the wall-facing surface is closed and large enough to use two 3M Command strips for mounting.

The switchplate screws self-tap into the bracket. I cut the switchplate screws by 1-1/2 turns so they didn't dig into the cabinet. To complete the disguise I tucked the tails of the Command strips under the switchplate. Looks just like the real thing.

Also included is a narrow version that should work with all other types of switchplates, but I haven't tested it. If you make one please post your results.
