High voltage experience is needed. It will be painful if the plasma is touched, but not lethal. This is a small scale ionic thruster used to test how corona discharge from high voltage DC accelerates ionized air to produce thrust without any moving parts. To power it, you can use any kind of low power high voltage DC. I used a flyback transformer connected to a voltage multiplier, but the cheapest and easiest option is a high voltage DC power source from Amazon (linked below). The high voltage DC power source from Amazon should be powered with 3-6V, and 2-5A.At this low power input, the high voltage is not dangerous, but using anything higher without experience can be lethal and wont work for this project. Parts Needed:Printed PartsAluminum Foil Tape (https://a.co/d/3XEnNFQ)400kv High Voltage DC Power Source (https://a.co/d/bb8iyE0)(8pcs) M3x10mm bolts and nuts (10mm or longer)Glue or bolt the rail to the base.Wrap aluminum foil tape around the spikes and nozzle, make sure there is eve
