This is a frame designed for the iPad 10.2" (8th generation, 2020). It makes the tablet look more like a picture frame when in use. All sides of the frame are equally thick. Since the short sides of the iPad need extra coverage to hide everything except the screen, the long sides are also made wide – which makes the whole frame appear quite large. By design, the frame also covers the home button, power button, and volume buttons. To access them you need to snap the iPad out of the frame. For my setup this is not an issue, since I use Guided Access and automation to control the screen, but it’s worth being aware of. The frame is designed to work with a 90-degree Lightning cable exiting at the bottom, so the iPad can stay powered without a cable sticking straight out. I usually keep mine leaning against the wall, but the model also includes a hidden wall-mount option.
