Ipad holder to vents

This was actually my first design attempt at creating an iPad mount for cars. Unlike my newer model, this version doesn’t require zip ties—just insert the clips directly into your car’s AC vents. Important Notes & Limitations: This works best only if the AC vents are closely spaced. Some cars have wider vent gaps where this might not fit securely. Stability is limited for long or bumpy rides. Over time, the PLA slots tend to expand due to vibrations and stress from road conditions. If possible, I recommend printing this model in TPU (a flexible filament) instead of PLA to improve grip and durability. This version is perfect if you're just looking to temporarily mount your iPad to watch videos while parked or during short drives. It's a simple and easy-to-use DIY solution — feedback and ideas for improvement are always welcome!
