This solves 2 problems with the iPadPro - device protection, and having the left hand wander onto the screen while holding the pad and reading it. Invariably, the article being read either jumps back to the top, or closes when your thumb touches the screen. The grip also helps protect the screen from low falls onto smooth surfaces. It also gives a place to store the Apple Pencil while not being used, in the handgrip.
The left side bezel of the iPad isn’t wide enough to hold the iPad comfortably with the left hand while reading for long periods. The iPad slides snugly into this grip, giving a wider left bezel and handhold. The 6mm dia. x 3mm high magnets (Amazon) hold it securely in place. The thumb area has a raised ridge near the top to keep the thumb from wandering onto the screen.
The .scad code is included so it can be altered to other tablets.
