Iphone 8 spotting scope mount.

This is a fairly straight forward Iphone to spotting scope adapter.

This was sized to fit an Iphone 8 and a Bariska spotting scope. The diameter of the eyepiece was roughly 1.525 inches.

I made the inner diameter of the sleeve 1.55 to allow a bit of room.

The final print was a little tight on the scope and on the phone requiring a bit of sanding to get the fit just right for both. I think this was due to the general crankiness of my printer (A8s can bo so passive agressive), You may want to scale it up a couple of percent just in case. It's a lot easier to snug the fit up than it is to loosen it up.

I can't get a picture of the adapter in use because my only camera is the phone but I think it's pretty straight forward.

The center slot is so you can add a band around the middle to double secure the phone. Mine is pretty snug so I left the band off but I was standing in one place waiting for Big birds that don't like their picture taken to show up.
