# Mount your iPhone on your Mac
### Motivation
Have you heard about [DeskView](https://www.apple.com/macos/continuity/)? It is one of the most powerful feature of macOS Ventura, but in order to use it, you must therefore attach your phone to the 5 mm screen edge of your MacBook. In order to do this, I designed this simple piece of hardware that allows you to do so.
This mount can be used for any other configuration similar to the one described in the `Tested on` part.
### Tested on
The configuration used for testing:
- iPhone 13 Pro (12mm x 150mm with case)
- MacBook Pro M1 16" (5mm edge thickness)
### Technical capabilities
iPhone-compatible mounts and stands are available from many manufacturers. When mounted, make sure that your iPhone is:
- Locked
- Stable
- Positioned with its rear cameras facing you
- In landscape orientation to allow apps to choose your iPhone automatically
With "Continuity", the new features available in MacOS Ventura, Cente
