I have a dual extruder system but only have one extruder attached. This allowed me to attach the sensor almost right in the middle of the effector, so reducing mathematical problems with effector tilt. I removed the hot end mount from the effector, unscrewed the hot end then drilled and tapped two holes for M3 bolts in the middle of the hot end mount, 10mm apart. The top section bolts into these holes. The bottom section bolts onto the top section with two M2 bolts, 25mm long. The sensor bolts onto the bottom section. As the sensor is close to the hot end and a bit sensitive to temperature, there is a "heat shield". This is just a piece of plastic the same size as the sensor PCB. Glue aluminium foil to the side of the heat shield facing the hot end. The other side of the heat shield goes to the back of the sensor PCB. The sensor PCB is mounted so that the sensor compon
