Most standard ironing tests look great… until you use them in real prints. Typical calibration models rely on small, flat square surfaces, which often produce near-perfect results that don’t translate well to actual models. In real-world scenarios, surfaces vary in shape, size, and geometry - and that’s where ironing usually starts to break down. This model is designed to fix that. It features a 5x5 calibration grid that systematically tests: Flow rates: 10% → 30% Ironing speeds: 10 mm/s → 50 mm/s Each tile combines different surface characteristics instead of simple flat squares, allowing you to evaluate ironing performance under more realistic conditions. Why this model is different: Tests ironing across varied geometries, not just flat planes Helps identify settings that work on complex surfaces Reduces the gap between “perfect test results” and actual print quality Ideal for dialing in profiles for functional and aesthetic prints How to use: Slice the model Print using your standar
