This is a Japanese Tōrō Lantern, designed to replicate one that I built from reclaimed timber. More specifically it is considered to be a dai-dōrō; ground or pedestal mounted lantern. You can see the original lantern I built here - https://youtu.be/72I0hmizYPY This version is designed to house the Maker's Supply LED Lamp Kit (MH001), with an alternative base if you want to use the LED Flame Tea Light Candle (or similar). NOT TO BE USED WITH REAL TEA LIGHT CANDLES!!! The project is a long project to print and will use around ¾ of a 1kg roll of filament. It is printed in 10 parts and easily assembled. For the demo photos I've used PLA Matte Teracotta (11203) for the body, and PETG Translucent Light Blue for the screens (that's the only translucent filament I had on hand). Instead for the screens I would recommend using PETG Translucent Clear or Light Brown for a better effect. For the body there are plenty of options from PLA Cocoa & Latte Browns to PLA Wood options, dependin
