JBL CHARGE 5 MOUNT

Mounting bracket for JBL Charge 5 remixed from Shakie.

The mounting holes in the baseplate are 6in x 3in. They are sized for 6 x 1 steel oval phillips sheet metal screw (its what I had on hand and is item number 80414 from "the fastener center"). The end clips attach to the baseplate using 4. So, you'll need a quantity of 8 to mount this successfully.

Full disclosure: I am still working out the fine details on this. Everything seems solid so far. The endcap blank fit, I'm just not certain on the rest of the assembly. I don't personally own a Charge 5, this is being made for a friend and they will be doing testing for me.

I will update if needed when I get some feedback.

UPDATE: Everything worked as expected. Everything mounted and fit securely. The baseplate was modified to fit the oval head screws below the top surface. The files have been updated to reflect this.

I included some blank step files of the endcap for those of you who were requesting on the original.
