After twenty years, the satellite speaks on my JBL Creature have disintegrated. Replacement is very easy and only requires one a new pair of speakers and a replacement bracket. My model is the version 1 but it might work for 2 and 3 as well.
The speakers I used are 4Ω 5W 40mm (1.5") although the originals are rated for 8W. I haven't had any issues. I bought the set for $12 on ebay and the replacement took less than an hour, not including printing. Any 40mm speaker should fit with this bracket.
1. Remove the bottom screws.
2. Remove the speaker wires and screw holding in the speaker
3. Break the glue holding the speaker bracket and remove the speaker itself
4. Glue in the metal guard if it fell out (CA doesn't work, I used hot glue but epoxy would be best)
5. Replace the speaker bracket and speaker (no glue)
6. Install the screw and wedge with hot glue or foam so there is no vibration
7. Reassemble
