One hook on my JBL Xtreme was ripped out of the device. I tried bending it back but it happened again and again. JBL improved the design on the Xtreme 2 but I don't want to buy a new device just because the hook is broken.
I created an endcap that snaps onto the speaker and offers a new hook.
I tried to rip of the hooks by pulling the strap. Looks like it is robust enough but time will tell.
