Jerry's Middle Phalanx Amputation

This is a modification of Knick's Prosthetic Finger and Knick's Prosthetic Finger by Knick - Middle phalanx amputation by Yair Herbst. Work was done by Enable Evansville, Kenzie's Helping Hands, and Jerry. Our recipient had both an index and middle finger that were amputated but left with a working proximal knuckle. His ring finger was also amputated and did not leave a working knuckle.

This modification uses the tip from an earlier modification - Jerry's Knick Finger which was used for his ring finger. The tip is not included in this thing file.

Modifications include:
* A keyhole connection between the tip knuckle and the tip that allows for easier assembly and firmer hold.
* Integrated pin connections for both joints.
* a knob for holding the string in place under tension.
* larger holes for the elastic than the string to eliminate stringing mistakes.
* a flexible sleeve that fits inside a PLA piece for comfort.
