Jet engines with intake

This is a jet engine shroud for a custom three engine jet fighter model design. The intended scale is 1:48 but could make an interesting 1:72 as well. I was test fitting the design to fit several different aircraft and spaceship concepts and it struck me that this by itself would make a great remix item for others to incorporate in their own designs. So, here it is. Have fun with this one.

The STL files include the engine shroud and one engine as separate files. Load the engine 3 times for a complete assembly. The files are Cura scaled and oriented for printing.

As the assembly is a fairly tight tolerance assembly I would recommend using calibrated filament so you don't have to do a lot of post work to insert the engines in the shroud. I use the following parts to calibrate the filament for this print. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1037301
