Once again I found a list of solids to design…. This time I hope I could design all of them in 3D.
This time I’m not going to print them (there are 92 of them) but please place a picture with the number of solid I you do print one.
I will publish them in several files with the title: Johnson Solid nr (the numbers in this post.)
In 1966, Norman Johnson published a list which included all 92 solids, and gave them their names and numbers. He did not prove that there were only 92, but he did conjecture that there were no others. Victor Zalgaller in 1969 proved that Johnson's list was complete.
Jn1: Square Pyramid
Jn2: Pentagonal Pyramid
Jn3: Triangular cupola
Jn4: Square cupola
Jn5: Pentagonal cupola
Jn6: Pentagonal rotunda
Jn7: Elongated triangular pyramid
Jn8: Elongated square pyramid
Jn9: Elongated pentagonal pyramid
Jn10: Gryreolongated square pyramid
Jn11: Gyreolongated pentagonal pyramid
Jn12: triangular bipyramid
Jn13: pentagonal bipyramid
Jn14: Elonga
