Add Dust Collection to your 6" Dovetail Jointer. This is modeled off the AMT Dovetail jointer made in 1989. Dovetail Jointers often used the same cast iron molds, so this should fit most models. This model should work for Delta, Grizzly, Powermatic, AMT, Jet, and more. The Chute is reversible and can be aimed at either the left or right side of the machine. After installing this, my Harbor Freight dust collector has been able to remove every chip from my Jointer with no clogs or chips coming out in weird areas. After attaching a dust hose, you can hear the suction being directed right to the cutterhead. DIRECTIONS: You will need to remove your jointer from the base via the 3 large bolts underneath. I did also need to remove the metal dust chute that was previously on the machine base. Once that is off, flip the jointer over onto something soft so that you don't damage the wings or the knobs.
