K8400 Foot

Here is a new design of foot for the Velleman Vertex K8400 3D printer. The foot is fixed to the printer via a M5*50 Hex Bolt, washers and hex nuts.

The foot itself has to be printed in PLA or ABS. For the "hollow" version the associated pad can be printed in TPU or Primalloy (and so acts like a damper). The footpad could be replace by a squash ball too ...

This has been designed with FreeCAD, what a wonderful software ;-)

Tips are welcome, it will encourage me to produce and publish new hardware hacks ... Thanks by advance!
