Karcher Pro Vacuum Adapter for Angle Grinder

The adapter that comes with a Karcher Professional Vacuum Cleaner has a flexible rubber tip, but it is quite rigid. The tip of the rubber has an outer diameter of about 36mm and internal diameter of around 27mm. When you have an angle grinder with a dust shield having a 38mm outer diameter (32mm inside diameter), the two are not going to be able to connect without some form of additional adapter. I had limited success using some flexible tubing and gear clamps, but they kept coming lose. I finally found that the rubber tip connects to the yellow and grey part using a left hand thread…. ….so, 3D printing to the rescue…..The adapter kept the vacuum cleaner hose firmly attached to the angle grinder dust shield.The adapter has marking of “0” (off) and “1” (on) for direction of rotation to fit or remove.
