I haven't printed this yet but I know it will fit on a 250 x 250 board diagonally.
Make sure in print settings that you have sufficient supports in there because there are floating parts like the blade that sit parallel to the print bed in the air.
In terms of painting this to customise it there is relative freedom for the individual to choose based on what paint you prefer.
