Kayak Light Mount

I made this so I could add Road ID Green and Red Lights to my Kayak for the MR-340. A lot of folks just stick them somewhere on their craft in a way that likely doesn't comply with USCG guidance. Not that it's ever been an issue, but I wanted to try to put something together not only to hold the lights, but also to place some spare batteries and put my action cam on top to record the fun.

After Action Review:
This performed amazingly well for the MR340. No problem with damage to it, the LEDs were very secure in the mount, and I never needed the spare batteries I had packed. The RoadID Lights were plenty bright and the mount did it's job by keeping them form blinding me at night. Despite the days of paddling I had little issue twisting the LEDs to turn them on. I added a couple of pics to show how it's mounted, painted, and lit up.
