Hey look I designed a top. Ive printed a few of other designs from Thingiverse and I thought I'd take a stab at designing a few. I'm not terribly good at spinning them, but I've had it spin over 2 minutes. I imagine it could go longer.
A "plug" the size of the holes in the top is provided and could be printed. My initial thought was that the "plug" might be used to help align during glueing or to just for look, but I didn't use these and don't feel they are actually useful. If you do print plugs, you probably want to print with a brim.
The model comes whole. I DON'T RECOMMEND printing with supports. Instead, use your slicer (or another tool) to cut the model in half, print both halves, and used CA glue to glue the two parts together. To better understand, see the screen capture I've included in the images.
