Key Body Repair

This key had a cap that broke off and just left a T shaped blade. So I designed this key body cap around the blade shape. There has to be a "pause at height" command entered into the G-Code to make this work. The pause on my Anycubic Mega-S took place at layer 25, the key blade inserted and then printing resumed. A special extension had to be added to Cura to make this happen on the Anycubic (Please see notes at bottom for info on the extension). There has to be a support piece to rest the tip of the blade on when the blade is inserted. This file must be added at the same time that the key body file is placed into Cura and adjusted to lay flat and just in front of the key body cap. The .STL file will need to be altered for the interior of the key blade to work for whatever key shape you may have. Designed using Freecad.
