When I rekeyed our locks, I unfortunately chose a key whose sweet spot requires you to pull back about 20 thou in order to get the tumblers to engage. I ended up designing and printing a little shim that allows you to hit that spot with no jiggling.

If it is a bit too big, sand one side to fine tune.
